Blocked by your company's IT policy?
Some companies use web filters that block new or uncategorized websites. The good news: it's a quick fix. Here's how to get Halftime unblocked.
Send a quick message to your IT team
Most IT teams can allowlist a domain in minutes. Copy the message below and send it to your IT department or helpdesk.
Hi IT team, Our team would like to use Halftime (halftime.coffee) — a team engagement platform we use for short social breaks during the workday. It's a standard web app (HTTPS only, port 443) with no desktop install, browser extension, or system-level access. It collects minimal data: name, email, and game scores. No sensitive data, no tracking, no ad networks. Could you please allowlist the domain halftime.coffee? You can review their security details at: https://halftime.coffee/security Thanks!
Share the security page
If your IT team wants more detail, point them to our Security & Trust page. It covers infrastructure, data practices, and everything they need to make a decision.
We can help too
If your IT team has questions or needs to speak with us directly, have them email hello@halftime.coffee. We'll respond within a business day.
Why does this happen?
Many companies use web filtering tools (like Zscaler, Cisco Umbrella, or Palo Alto) that automatically block websites they haven't categorized yet. Since Halftime is new, some filters haven't categorized us yet. We're actively working with all major web filter vendors to ensure Halftime is correctly classified as a business productivity tool. In the meantime, a quick allowlist request to your IT team is the fastest path.
