01A day in halftime

A day, two minutes at a time.

An example workday with Halftime. Set the game window to suit your team; everyone plays when they have a moment.

● Open
09:00 am

Today's game drops.

A new game opens for your team. A quick puzzle, a test of timing, a drawing challenge. Optional reminders give everyone a nudge; the game runs in the browser.

02Why it works

A shared game.
Something to talk about.

An easy way in

A score is a conversation starter.

You don't need an opening line. There's a close finish to compare, a tricky round to laugh about, or a teammate's record to chase.

A little room in the day

Nobody has to host it.

Choose your team's schedule and share an invitation link. Halftime brings the next game. Colleagues choose when to play, and can skip a day when work is busy.

03The long gameRecords & champion

Five days. One champion. A book of records.

A good score today puts you in the running for the week. A personal best stays in the record book. There’s always a little something to come back for.

04The library

Enough variety to make the habit stick.

Arcade, puzzle, word, trivia, strategy. Old favorites and weird experiments, all built for the same two-minute window.

Try Tower Stack here. Then picture the rest of your team taking their turn, with a shared result when the game closes.

No account needed

Before you roll it out

Start small. Keep what sticks.

Will people actually play?

Try it with one team and see what sticks. The 30-day trial gives colleagues time to find their favourite games and get a little competition going. There’s no card required and no automatic charge.

Does everyone need to play at the same time?

No. Colleagues play during your team's game window. Choose a schedule that gives everyone time to take a turn. Shared results appear when the game closes.

Do we need Slack or Microsoft Teams?

No. Games run in the browser. Email, Slack and Teams are optional ways to send game reminders and results notifications.

How do colleagues join?

Create your team and share its invitation link. Colleagues follow the link and sign in or create an account to join. You can invite them through the channel or email you already use.

What happens after the trial?

Choose a paid plan to keep the daily team game and full library. Pro is US$39 per team per month for up to 20 players. If you don’t subscribe, the daily puzzle, icebreaker and joke remain available on Free.
